The Associated Press - June 16, 2017 11:21 am

Hundreds of people have started riding in to Ponca City this morning!

They are the bicyclists riding with OK Freewheel Chisholm Trail.  Please help make them feel welcome!

This year’s ride celebrates  the 150th anniversary of the historic Chisholm Trail. Riders started in Wichita Falls, Texas, and continue on to South Haven, Kansas, on Saturday morning.  Their ride started June 11.

The Marland Children’s Home has the grill fired up and is ready to serve the OK Freewheel bike group.

About 500 bicycle riders are visiting and will stay overnight.
