OHP, State Law Enforcement Team Up For Sobriety Checkpoints On New Year’s Eve

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say they will be out in force for New Year’s to make sure everyone can get home safely.

OHP is partnering with law enforcement across the state to perform field sobriety checkpoints on New Year’s Eve.

Troopers say last year there were 149 crashes with two deaths in Oklahoma on News Year’s Eve. Of those, they say 27-wrecks were because of drugs or alcohol.

If you drink, don’t drive!
