Zonna Lyn Feken
January 16, 1947 - January 17, 2025
Zonna Lyn Feken, age 78, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Born on January 16, 1947, at Alameda Naval Base in Alameda, California. Zonna was the beloved daughter of Tom and Bobbie (Bronson) Murphy. She graduated from Mission San Jose High School in Mission San Jose, California.
Zonna had many careers throughout her life, but she found her true calling working in the Payne County District Attorney's Office, where she dedicated herself for many years to the child support enforcement group. Her work was marked by compassion and a deep commitment to helping others, as well as forming a number of friendships along the way.
Zonna’s greatest joy, however, was her family. She was the wife of Dean Feken, and together they shared a life filled with love and laughter. Zonna cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to live on through them.
Zonna is survived by her husband, Dean Feken of Perry; her daughter, Christina DePriest of Alexander, Arkansas; grandchildren, Carson Ewing and her husband Richard of Sheridan, Arkansas, Connor Powell and his wife Cara of White Hall, Arkansas, and Camryn Swiger and her husband Mark of Newcastle, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Reid, Collins, Cooper (coming in April), Braxton, Coralea, Charlotte, Silas, and Deagan; her brother, Robert Murphy; sister-in-laws Sara Feken-Cole and Amy, and Trina Feken; nieces and nephews, Abby, Sydney, Denise Clayton and husband Kelly, Josh Feken and wife Melissa, Sarah Gile and her husband Darrell, and Ryan Murphy; and four great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Bobbie, and her brother, Steven Murphy.
Zonna’s absence leaves a profound void, but her love, wisdom, and the memories she created with her family and friends will forever remain.
A celebration of Zonna’s life will be held from 2-5 PM on February 1, 2025 in the family room at Trout Funeral Home of Perry.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Zonna’s name to the American Cancer Society.
