Shirley Klinger

Shirley Ann Klinger, age 86, passed away on February 19, 2025, at home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 14, 2025, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Shirley was born on March 22, 1938, to George Pagel and Clara Ann (George) Pagel on a farm north of Billings, OK. She married the love of her life, Kenneth, on September 2, 1956. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who dedicated much of her life to the land she loved. She spent most of her years farming and raising cattle. Shirley also had a special place in her heart for cats, a love that she shared with those around her.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; her parents; and her sister, Betty. Shirley is survived by her two children, Gary Klinger and wife, Sharon of Ponca City; Rick Klinger and wife, Grace of Newkirk; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
