Viris F. “Vi” Harmon, age 81, of Ponca City, OK, passed away February 1, 2022, in Wichita, KS. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City, OK. Face masks are required. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 76401.

Vi was born on November 1, 1940, in Lep, OK to Gilbert & Helen (Bertling) Rhodes. She graduated from Shidler High School. On November 24, 1962, she married William “Bill” in Shidler, OK. Vi was baptized at the age of 18. She has always been active in the church. Vi enjoyed the many activities her children and grandchildren were involved in from band, FFA, volleyball, baseball, basketball and countless PTA events. Vi loved volunteering. She said, “I just want to help people.”

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents; sisters, Ramona Collins and Jeannie Neeley.

Survivors include son, Joe Harmon and his wife, Joy (Harader), of Edmond, OK; grandson, Neal Harmon, of Edmond, OK; granddaughter, Amanda (Harmon) and her husband, Chris Maples, of Edmond, OK, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson; daughter, Kristi Logan and her husband, Tony Logan, of Wichita, KS; grandson, Cody Logan and his wife Kaitlyn, of Hesperia, CA; grandson, Kyle Logan, of Wichita, KS; son, Terry Harmon and Ed Dickinson, of Ponca City, OK; daughter, Kay Harmon of Leander, TX; granddaughter, Audrey Majors of Norman, OK; brother-in-law, Donald Collins of Talala, OK; niece, Donna (Collins) Mason and her husband, Larry Mason, of Corinth, TX; brother-in-law, Bruce Neeley, of Independence, IA; niece, Ayelete (Neeley) and her husband, Danny Elnecave, of Jerusalem, Israel and numerous family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Joe Harmon, Terry Harmon, Neal Harmon, Ed Dickinson, Tony Logan and Cody Logan. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Neeley and Don Collins.
