October 7, 1949 – October 19, 2019

Tricia M. Dilbeck, life-long resident of Ponca City, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at her home. She was 70 years old. A funeral ceremony to remember a wonderful woman will be held at 10am on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Tricia’s family will be available to greet friends on Wednesday, October 23rd from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Tricia was born on October 7, 1949 in Ponca City to her parents, Bayless and Maxine DeMoss. She graduated from Po-Hi as part of the Class of 1967. She continued her education at OSU and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1971. Tricia worked as a Juvenile Justice Specialist with the Office of Juvenile Affairs retiring in 2011. She began serving in 2012 as a board member for the Northern Oklahoma Youth Shelter. She was currently serving as the secretary and treasurer, held leadership roles on the community team with system of care for mental health care services to children. After retirement, she served on the Advisory Board for Dearing House contributing in many capacities. She held offices and was passionate about her work with the State Employees.
She was in the RHO Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and held many offices for approximately 20 years. She loved gardening and rearranging her pink flamingos in the yard. She enjoyed watching OSU football games with her cats and shopping with her friends and family.
She will be missed by her son, Brandon of Ponca City, niece, Deanna and husband Brian Morris of Kansas City, nephew, Doug and wife Jean DeMoss of Kansas City, nephew, Gary and wife Gabby DeMoss of Kansas City, brother, Jerry DeMoss of Kansas City, stepmother, Ruth DeMoss of Wichita Falls and 3 great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bayless and Maxine and sister-in-law, Linda DeMoss.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ponca City Humane Society, P.O. Box 1671, Ponca City, OK 74601, Dearing House Child Advocacy Shelter, 311 South 13th Street, Ponca City, OK 74601, or the National Arthritis Foundation (arthritis.org).
