Timothy Paul Muegge

August 20, 1958 – March 6, 2018

Timothy Paul Muegge was born on August 20, 1958 and died on March 6, 2018. Tim was the son of Paul and Nancy Muegge. Proud grandparents were George and Estelle Bee Muegge and John and Bessie Vorhees. Tim had cerebral palsy, a challenge from birth. He met each challenge with spunk, courage, and determination. He attended elementary school in Lamont, Oklahoma and graduated from Tonkawa High School. He received an Associate Degree from Okmulgee Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was a fan of Oklahoma University’s Sooners in spite of the family ties to Oklahoma State University. Tim could tell you the statistics of many sports teams. Tim also kept up with state and national politics and had firm opinions on the issues. Tim was a friend to all, willing to help in whatever ways he was needed. At the time of his death, Tim was a resident of Ponca City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Tim is survived by his parents, Paul and Nancy Muegge; his brother, Jeff and wife Leslie; his brother, Shawn and fiancé Debbie Perks; his sister, Amy; and his niece, Ryan Muegge. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, nephew David Muegge, and niece Madison Muegge.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2 pm in the Sanctuary of Tonkawa First United Methodist Church.
