A friend to all he met, Terry’s zest for life could be seen and felt by those around him. Much of his life was spent working with and caring for animals which he cherished, but it could truly be seen when with his beloved horses which he would ride around town.
A graduate of the Buddy Beaston’s Farrier School in Sperry, Oklahoma; where he met World Roping Champion and actor Ben Johnston, someone Terry would never forget. Declared by the Ponca City News as "Ponca City’s Real Cowboy," Terry could be found at rodeos helping others, providing help to other cowboys as a rodeo clown, and making people laugh which he enjoyed immensely.
Terry was married to Jean Ann Robertson on March 17, 1978, making their home in Ponca City; where they enjoyed their lives together camping, going to rodeos, and attending many Round-Up Club events. The ever prankster, Terry was known for playing jokes on Jean Ann; as she now reflects back upon them enjoying her memories of him.
