Terry James Brien

May 23, 1978 – August 11, 2021

Terry J Brien (TJ) 43, of Ponca City, Ok. passed away on August 11,2021 at the Ponca City Hospital. He was born on May 23,1978 to James Brien (Jimmer), and Marsha Taylor in Pawnee Ok. He attended school in Fairfax Ok. Terry worked as an Operator at Sentinel Transportation- Phillips66 for over 20 years. On September 5,1999 he married Shannon Brien. Terry and Shannon lived in Fairfax OK, and then later moved to Ponca City, Ok and had 2 children Terry J Brien II,(TJ) and Tobi Brien. He was a huge OU Fan. Some of his hobbies were watching sports, golfing, and boating. Sitting on the porch and all the neighbor kids would come over to hang out with him. TJ never met a stranger, he was loved by everyone, and loved everyone.

Terry is survived by his wife Shannon and their 2 children TJ, and Tobi Brien, and his parents James (Jimmer)and Dean Brien, and Marsha Taylor his sister Candi Summy, and brother Jimmer Brien his stepsister Shyanne Denton and a lot of nieces and nephews, and tons of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 17,2021 from 10:00am to 8:00pm at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 18,2021 at 10:00am in Fairfax at Woodland High school Auditorium. Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 9:45 AM.
