September 13, 1937 – February 17, 2023

Ted Eddie Flauding, 85, of Hunnewell, KS, passed away on February 17, 2023. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery, South Haven, KS. All friends are welcome to attend.

Ted was born on September 13, 1937, in Arkansas City, KS, to Aura and Nora (McMahan) Flauding. He married Doris Nally on September 21, 1955 in Wichita, KS, and worked as a mechanic for Boeing. He later served South Haven and the surrounding communities as a handy man.

Ted is survived by: children, Ted Jerry Flauding and his wife, Kelly, of Arkansas City, KS, Guy Richard Flauding and his wife, Tanya, of Blanchard, OK, Brenda Lee Bacon and her husband, Larry, of South Haven, KS, and Linda Kay Cink and her husband, Jason, of Hunnewell, KS; grandchildren, Ted Richard Flauding and wife, Sarah, Charles Flauding and wife, Norma, Bridget Bryan and husband, James, Casey Cullens and husband, Eric, Thomas Bacon and wife, Darcy, Natosha Ast and husband, Adam, Sheila Tatum and husband, Matt, Travis Chitwood and wife, Krystal, and John Cink; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.

Ted was preceded in death by: his parents, Aura and Nora, wife, Doris, brothers, Thomas Flauding, Tim Flauding, sister, Dorothy Clayton and grandson, William “BJ” Flauding.
