Sue C. (McFerran) Kelly passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.
Sue was born on February 15, 1942 in Central City, Kentucky to her parents, James McFerran and Eva Elvira (Robey) McFerran. Sue and her family moved to California when she was a teenager and graduated from Compton High in Compton, California. She married Charles Howard Kelly in California in 1960. The couple relocated when Charles was transferred to the Ponca City branch of Smith Tools.
Sue enjoyed the outdoors and doing adventurous activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping. She loved to sew and garden, and took special care of her red roses. Her adventurous spirit enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas.
She is survived by her son, Charles Kelly, Jr. of Ponca City, daughter, Sue Catherine Kelly of Nuevo, California, grandchildren, Catherine Sue Doyle and boyfriend Ryan Ramey of Oklahoma City, and Melissa Holler and husband Russell of Marble Falls, TX, great-grandchildren Jonas Holler and Sophia Holler, her twin brother, James McFerran, and sister, Martha Gill as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Howard Kelly, and a great-grandson, Isaac Holler.
Sue was well loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
