Stephanie Jo Soucek
November 1, 1956 – December 26, 2021
Stephanie Jo Soucek, age 65, of Enid, Oklahoma passed away December 26, 2021 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Lamont First Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Reynolds officiating. Stephanie will be laid to rest at Lamont Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be at Trout Funeral Home of Perry from 8am to 8pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. The family will greet friends and family from 6pm to 8pm.
Stephanie was born on November 1, 1956 in Enid, Oklahoma to John and Elizabeth (Lutes) Soucek. She grew up in the Lamont area and graduated from Deer Creek-Lamont High School in 1975. She continued her education at Northern Oklahoma College where she was a member of Roustabouts. She then went on to graduate at NWOSU Alva earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music. Stephanie devoted much of her life to women and premature babies working as a Divisional Director for the March of Dimes. She was currently the Volunteer Services Director at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital and loved ordering for the Gift Shop.
Stephanie was loved by so many people and didn’t know a stranger. If you knew her you loved her and was always greeted with a huge hug. She lived for her family and her nieces and nephews were the delight of her life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include: her sister, Patricia Cunningham; brothers, Glen Soucek and David Soucek and his wife, Consuelo; her sister in love, Gayla Soucek; her beloved niece, Noel Black and her husband, Alex; all her loved nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Soucek; grandparents, Joe and Margaret Lutes and Charles and Juanita Soucek.
Casketbearers will be Jeff Soucek, Jeremy Soucek, Tim Soucek, Andrew Sousek, Eric Soucek, Alex Black, Dalton Cunningham, and Aven Black. Stephanie’s brothers, Glen and David Soucek will serve as honorary casketbearers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Volunteers at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma or to the Lamont First Christian Church Memorial Fund in care of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N. 7th St., Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
