Stella Marie Smith

March 22, 1930 ~ April 29, 2022 (age 92)

Stella (Zimmer) Smith, 92, of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022. Born in Coffeyville, Kansas on March 22, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha (Perkins) Zimmer.

She enjoyed bingo, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Stella is survived by her husband, Edward Smith of the home; her children, Pam Lopez of Ponca City, Larry Eubanks of Alton, IL, Kathy Burge of Ponca City, Viola and husband Rick Link of Brighton, IL, Mike and wife Darlene Smith of Meadowbrook, IL, Eldon and wife Cathy Smith of Alton, IL. Vickie and husband Dawaine Null of Wood River, IL, Leisha Clark of Tonkawa, Rick and Karen Smith of Bethalto, IL, and Terry Fredrick and David Nelson of Henderson, NC. One sister Margaret Ratcliff of Blackwell, sister-in-law Esther Arnold of Wrights, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. Stella was blessed with 32 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Edward R. Smith, Jr., one granddaughter McKenna Smith, five brothers: Raymond, Paul, Phillip, Glenn, and Harold Zimmer, two sisters: Ruth Kendal and Evelyn Wise.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th, at 2:30pm at the Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas with Pastor Adam Phillips officiating. Services are in the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
