Obituary for Sophia “Meghan” Eagle

Sophia Maree "Meghan" Eagle died unexpectedly on January 1, 2015 at her home.

She is survived by husband of 10 years Charlie Waters, children; Brooklyn Lee Sunrise, Judy Brenna, Alexis Lyric, brother in Indian way; Rex Charles eagle, Marc David Eagle,David Thomas Eagle, Jr. "Nikki" , her dearest and closest friend Lynette Sardina, childhood friend Marissa Packhorse, Mother Brenda, companion Jamie and sister Hidee. Favorite cousins; Summer McWhithy, Marlene Eagle, April Shyann Eagle, Feather Autumn Eagle, Sydny Eagle, Arlenea Roy, Sara Delodge and Lady Bug.

She was preceded in death by grandfather; Hiawatha Eagle, father; Melburn Lee Roy, nephew; Tristian McWhithy.

She was a beautiful girl inside and out. She was a simple girl who loved her daughters, husband, and family very much. She liked listening to "Drake", her favorite singer, on her cell phone, going to Ponca lake for 4th of July, watching Family Guy and eating pizza with a Dr. Pepper. She was a animal lover, her favorite was her cat :Ashanti:. She was kind hearted and never complained about being sick. She loved the simple things in life. She loved all her cousins, uncles and aunties. She left us to soon and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was quiet and shy, never wanting to bring attention to herself.

A special thanks to Uncle Doug and Aunt Lillian for being with us since she got sick, to my cousins Cher and Nancy for their support and special thank you to Rex and Racheal in our time of need and Paula Mendoza my friend.

Casketbearers will be ; Clifford "C.C." LeClair, Tony NoHeart, Eddie Ramsey, Benjamin Waters, Rex eagle and Marc Eagle. Honorary Casketbearers will be; Defor Pappan, Blue Roy, Sun Pappan, M.R. Pappan, Anthony Pappan, Toby Eagle, Beaver Eagle, Davy Eagle, Nikki Eagle, Jamie Terry, Tist Roy and Carl DeLodge.

Following the traditional noon feast the funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Ponca Indian Cultural Center with Gordon Lack, officiating. Burial will then follow at Ponca Indian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Memorial fund will be set up for her children though RCB Bank.

Goodbye Bo’Gee, rest peacefully my baby, love mom.
