Sharon Kay Dye, 74, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Viewing will be held between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Ponca City Assembly with Pastor Dewayne Bardwell officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Round Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Sharon was born on December 23, 1949, in Ponca City, OK, to Johnnie Leroy and Ulala Adlaide (Reaves) Ridgeway. On June 28, 1968, she married Larry Dye at the First Assembly of God Church in Ponca City. Sharon worked as a law clerk. She was also a long-time member of the Ponca City Assembly and enjoyed singing Gospel Hymns. She loved spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was an OSU fan, and enjoyed decorating, riding her scooter with her dog, Holly, and shopping, especially for shoes. Sharon also loved family get-together’s, and playing cards.

Sharon is survived by: her husband, Larry, of the home; children, Lori Willcutt and her husband, Alan, of Okarche, OK, Lane Dye and his wife, Jenny, of Kaw City, OK; grandchildren, Kody Willcutt and his wife, Katelyn, of Okarche, OK, Graci Haney and her husband, Harrison, of Mineral Wells, TX, Layden Dye of Kaw City, OK; great-grandson, Koda; sisters, Peggy Rinehart and her husband, Dean, of Ponca City, OK, Mary Carson and her husband, Mike, of Ponca City, OK, Connie Steele of Ponca City, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Shirley Mowdy and Susie Bricker; and brother, John Wallace Ridgeway.

Pallbearers will be Rowdy Andrews, Darrel Dye, Brian Dye, Michael Carson, Chad Moore, and Dustin Rinehart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dye, and Jeremy Moore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ponca City Assembly, 2313 E Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK 74604.
