Ronald Jene Wilson

April 13, 1944 – August 16, 2018

Ronald Jene Wilson longtime Ponca City resident passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 in Oklahoma City. He was 74 years of age. Ronald was born on April 13, 1944 in McAlester, OK to Oliver Darwin Wilson and Marjorie Bernice Burk Wilson.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday August 23, 2018 in Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating. Interment will take place later following cremation.

Ronald work for the City of Ponca City for 45 years and at the time of his retirement in 2006 he was the steam plant operator. Ronald was an avid bowler in his early years playing in several Leagues. During his later years he enjoyed going to the Casino’s.

Survivors include: 1 son; Lloyd Wilson and wife Jennifer of Port Orchard, WA, 6 grandchildren; Cassandra VonBon, Benjamin Wilson, Breanna Wilson, Robert Wilson, Wyatt Barcus and Christian Wilson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers.
