Roger Allen Wilson, 86, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Monday, November 11, 2024, in Wichita, KS. Viewing will be from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, with a Funeral Ceremony beginning at 2:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Roger was born on Wednesday, April 13, 1938, in Enid, OK, to Vernon E. and Georgia E. (Miner) Wilson. He grew up in and graduated from high school in Okeene, OK. He retired from Boeing after 40 years, then became a partner at Sprague Lawn and Tree Service.

Roger is survived by: his brother, Garry Wilson and wife, Susan, Todd and wife, Loy Wilson, children, Morgan, Jacob, Payton, & Addison, Lindsay Wilson Watson and husband, Neal, children, Sam, Gabe & Luke; his sister, Susan Hoover and husband, Darryl, of Mustang, OK; nieces, Shay Parsons, Stacey Cody; nephews, Justin Hoover, Dusty Hoover; his partner, Matthew Sprague of Ponca City, OK; children, Jerry Wilson and spouse, Sandy Wilson, children, David Wilson and spouse, Ren, daughter, Destiny, Kathryn Wilson Mata and spouse, Jamie, daughter, Lily and son, Rory, Rick and Anita Cox, Cody and Casey Cox, children, Caley, Makkenah, Haiden, Ricky Cox, Sean and April Cox, children, Emelia, Olivia, Maverick Cox; Jay Wilson, Natalee and her husband, Mark, Holden and his wife, Katie, Braiden, Jacen Thompson, Alissa Thompson, Shawnoven Wilson and his wife, Brittney, Jaden Wilson, J’Anna Wilson, Josiah Wilson, and Zaria Thompson, and John Wilson, children Sarahi and Greg Healy, John Wilson, Jr.; family of Roger Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Rachelle, son Kenyon, several nieces, nephews, other family members.

Roger was preceded in death by; his parents; sister, Carol; son, Jerry; daughter-in-law, Rosalba; and son-in-law, Rick Cox.
