Richard Duane Wilson

September 24, 1956 – May 28, 2022

Richard Duane Wilson, age 65, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away with his family in the comfort of his home, on May 28, 2022 in Perry, Oklahoma.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Perry with Tom Howard officiating.

Richard was born on September 24, 1956 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Melvin and Harryett (Elarton) Wilson. Richard moved to in Perry in 1969. He graduated in 1974 from Perry High School. On November 22. 1983, Richard married LoRena Brady. Richard was the owner/ operator at R & L Truck Repair.

Survivors include: his wife, LoRena Wilson; two sons from a previous marriage, Glenn Paul Wilson and his fiancé Adrian Michelle Atherton and Richard Bryan Wilson and Stacy Wilson; one son of his current marriage, Clayton RoyDon Wilson; one brother, Jason Wilson; grandchildren, JamesWilson, Teaguen Wilson , Jaden Oakes, Brylie Wilson, Cami Wilson, Matilda Wilson, and Addilenn Wilson; great grandson, Kash; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Harryett (Elarton) Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Burke Healey, Jack Wilson, Dennis Paulson, TJ Walraven, Gary Klusmeyer, Mark Rupp, Terry Bolay, Tony Law, and all of Richard’s friends and family.
