Obituary for Ralph Jackson

Ralph E. Jackson, age 62, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away March 10, 2015, at his home.

An event to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplain Tom Howard officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be Matt Speilbusch, Don Jackson, Donald Joe Jackson, and Joe Jackson. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Ralph was born on June 11, 1952 to Elza Chester Jackson and Elsie Paschall Jackson in Ponca City, OK. He was raised in the Ponca City area. After high school he joined the navy and was trained to serve as a torpedo man on submarines and spent time on the USS Hawkbill. More recently he worked as drill bit painter for Smith Bits. He was a friend to many, very trusting, and had a heart of gold.

Survivors include his brothers, Joe Jackson and wife Johannah of Ponca City, Don Jackson and wife Linda of Homosassa, FL, nieces and nephews: Tracy Jackson of Bosell, CT, Pamela Reeves of Oakdale, CT, Sherri Bartlett and husbnad Jason of Ponca CIty, Stacy Paslay of Ponca City, Bart Snyder and wife Cheryl of Ponca City, Bret Snyder and wife Nikki of Ponca City, Robyn Primeaux and husband Chris of Ponca City, Trisha Spielbusch and husband Matt of Ponca City, several great nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Gene Jackson.
