Phyllis Arlene Jones
October 15, 1934 – December 2, 2022
Phyllis Arlene Jones went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2022. She was born October 15, 1934 in Park, Nebraska, on a farm. As a young girl she enjoyed riding horses with her cousin, Ruby, and they would often spend the days laughing. She married Haden T. Jones on September 7, 1952, and remained married until his death in 2014. Throughout their marriage, they enjoyed traveling, singing, friends, playing cards, and sharing their faith.
When you visited Phyllis, you could count on her to have a pot of coffee ready and her undivided attention. She valued quality time and conversation. Her proudest moments in life was when she had her three sons, grandchildren, and then great-grandchildren.
Her world revolved around the Lord, family and friends. Phyllis was a strong woman who set the golden standard for every relationship in her life. Nothing was more important to her than faith, family and friends. Phyllis’ grandchildren will remember her most for sleepovers, card games, movies, and sitting together on the large swing on the back porch. Phyllis, Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother will be deeply missed.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Haden T. Jones (Bud), son Richard Lyle Jones, Parents, siblings and great grandson Jacob Ryan Jones. She is survived by her two sons; Hayden Jones, Floyd and wife Jodi Cline-Jones, seven grandchildren; Beth Kriebel and husband Jesse, Melissa Klomp, Rachel Jones, Shane Jones, Isabella Walker and husband Shane, Rebecca Jones, and Brandon Jones, eight great-grandchildren; Kaleb Bransford-Jones, Dylan Lott, Katie Bransford, Kody Fish, Autumn Kriebel, Brylee Klomp and Kloee Kriebel, and beloved long time family member Janetta Graham.
