Peggy Ann Hill

Peggy Ann Hill, resident of Ponca City, passed July 12, 2015 at Creekside Village. She was 73 years of age.

Peggy was born August 27, 1941 in St. John, Kansas, the daughter of William F. Young and Edna B. (Ramsey) Young. She was a graduate of Thayer, Kansas High School and attended Beauty College in Kansas City. She was married to Buddy Rodgers Hill Sr. in 1972 with the couple making their first home in Wichita, Kansas. The couple also lived in Kaw City, Oklahoma before moving to Ponca City in June of 2005. Her enjoyments were working in her flower beds, crocheting, various crafts and watching car racing.

She is survived by her five children, Buddy Rodgers Hill Jr. and wife Sheri, of El Cajon, California, Gary W. Hill and wife Vicki, of Haysville, Kansas, Tony Hash of Missouri, Debbie Rhone of Las Vegas and LouAnna Hash of Missouri; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Ada Mae Richey and one brother, Robert Young.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, Kansas with Rev. Dennis Wildman presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
