Peggy Naomi Crispin, age 74, of Morrison, Oklahoma passed away June 16, 2021, in Morrison, Oklahoma.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Perry Assembly of God with Brett Nation officiating. Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Perry Assembly Facebook page, www.facebook.com/perryassembly. Peggy will be laid to rest at Sumner Pleasant Valley Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077.
Peggy was born on March 6, 1947 in Perry, Oklahoma to Thurman and Irene (Henson) Givens. Peggy grew up in Orlando, OK, before spending most of her life in Perry, OK. She attended school in Orlando, OK. Peggy continued her education at Northern Oklahoma College and at St. Mary’s of the Plains earning a BSN, RN degree. She worked many years as a skilled and caring RN. On August 11, 1963, she married the love of her life, Larry Crispin in Sumner, OK. Together the couple had two children, Beckie and Mark.
Survivors include: 2 brothers, David Givens, Jimmy Givens and wife, Rosemary; 2 sisters, Judy Winters, Carol Barnes and husband, Ron; her daughter, Beckie Lyons and husband, Chris of Morrison, OK; son, Mark Crispin and partner Kim Higdon of Stillwater, OK; grandsons, Waylon Bolay and his wife, Ashley of Perry, OK, Lane Lyons of Stillwater, OK, Justin Crispin and his wife, Jesi of Morrison, OK, Blake Crispin and his wife, Jennifer of Morrison, OK, and Forrest Higdon and his wife Micha of Calumet, OK; granddaughters, Ashlie Sadler and her husband, Ty of Perry, OK, Kayla Lyons of Billings, OK, and Brooklin Ellison and her husband, Dallas of El Reno, OK; and great grandchildren, Harlee Bolay, Hadlee Bolay, Dutton Bolay, Wesley Sadler, Olivia Sadler, Wyatt Crispin, Blake M. Crispin, Evyn Crispin, Easton Crispin, Emeri Crispin, Everly Crispin, Rhiller Ellison, and Cooper Higdon.
Preceding in death were her parents, Thurman and Irene Givens; husband, Larry A. Crispin; brothers, George Givens, Everett Givens; sister, Therma Savoie; and in laws, Andrew and Geraldine Crispin.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Justin Crispin, Waylon Bolay, Blake Crispin, Ty Sadler, Lane Lyons and nephew, Chris Savoie. Honorary pallbearers will be Rusty Glenn, of Tonkawa, OK and Chad Givens of Perry, OK.
