August 25, 1926 – December 29, 2017
Pearl M. Lowther, age 91, resident of Owasso, OK passed away December 29, 2017 in Owasso, OK.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Northeast Baptist Church, 2200 N. Pecan Rd., Ponca City with Reverend Dr. Larry Nigh officiating.
Pearl was born on August 25, 1926 to Thomas and Eliza Essary in Stillwell, OK, and worked as a homemaker and for her brother Roy Essary at Essary’s Donut Shop. Most recently she worked for her brother Howard at the Manna House Ministry in Tulsa. Pearl was a very loving and caring person and never met a stranger. Her gift in life was serving others and she never tired of doing this. She enjoyed travel and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.
Survivors include son Jim Doing and wife Paulinda of Vancouver, WA; daughter Elaine Gillham and husband Gordon of Colorado Springs, CO; brother Howard Essary and wife Vicky of Owasso, OK; five grandchildren, Darren and wife Kimberlee, April, Chris, and Chad; five great-grandchildren, Isaac, Blakeley, Cole, Kaylie, and Isley.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters, her husbands Lester “Bud” Doing and Bill Lowther.
Memorial contributions may be made to Manna House Ministries, 4921 E. Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK 74115.
Casketbearers will be; Chris Doing, Darren Gillham, Mark Essary, Allen Hardesty, Tom Green, Ted Naman, Kim Stringer, Robert Johnson.
Honorary casketbearer will be Chad Doing.
