Patsy Jean Smith

June 9, 1929 – March 1, 2019

Patsy Jean Smith, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Via Christi. She was 89 years old. Patsy was born on June 9, 1929 in the town of Hulbert, Oklahoma to her parents, Theadore R. Miller and Billie M. Wofford.

Patsy married Leonard M Tebow on March 9, 1947 and they had three boys: Paul D. Tebow, Daniel L. Tebow, and Gregory S. Tebow. Leonard passed away in 1977. Patsy then married Carl Taber in 1981 and he brought his daughter, Karla, into the family. Carl passed away in 1982. In 2001, Patsy married Virgil Smith who preceded her in death in 2013.

Patsy lived a good life raising her family. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billie James Miller, and three husbands, Leonard Tebow, Carl Taber, and Virgil Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Paul D. Tebow of Tulsa, Daniel L Tebow of Ponca City, and Gregory S. Tebow of Saginaw, Michigan, and daughter, Karla.

A graveside ceremony for Patsy will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Lamont Cemetery in Lamont, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
