Obituary for Patricia Shreck

Patricia Ann Shreck, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 80 years of age.
Pat was born March 24, 1933 at Pawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lloyd B. Newman and Evelyn Panther McCool Newman. She was a member of the Kaw Nation and was given an Indian name with the meaning of “Noble One’.
She was married to Charles W. Shreck on May 28, 1982 in Ponca City. Her enjoyments were shopping, watching TV shows, music, and in earlier years, dancing.
She is survived by her four children, Deborah Stringer and husband Michael Lynn, Richard Dewayne Wegner and wife Anita, Evalynn Pearl Wolf and husband Van, and Stacy Wade Wegner; one brother, Bennett McCool and wife Sally, and one sister, Bonnie Faith Whigham and husband Cliff; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a special friend Bob Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles, on June 21, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Washunga Cemetery North of Newkirk.
Casket bearers are Beau Ballew, Jack Wegner, Jim Sherron, Bill Jones, Shelby Ray and Tom Williamson.
