Maxine F.A. “Granny T” Tinker, age 91, of Perry, passed away on April 14, 2023, at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, with her family at her side. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2PM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Trout Funeral Home of Perry with Monty Stueve officiating. Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 1:45 PM. Maxine will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Perry following the service.

Maxine was born on October 26, 1931 in Anthony, KS to Lyle and Artie Carrithers. She was raised on the farm west of Anthony, KS. She grew up feeding chickens, milking cows, and watching her dad sell horses and mules. In 1949 she married Glenn Callison, a handsome young man that came out to ride a horse for her dad. They had four children that they raised in Hazelton, KS. Maxine was a homemaker who baked lots of cookies for her family and was a cook at the local school. In 1971, Maxine married Forrest Tinker and moved to Freedom, OK, where she was his right hand at farming and raising cattle. In their free time, they loved to travel. They moved to Perry, OK, after retiring to be closer to family. Maxine enjoyed watching her grandkids in their many activities. Rodeos were her favorite, especially bull riding. Maxine was an avid football and basketball fan; she bled OSU orange and Thunder blue. She loved playing cards; pitch and pinochle were her favorite. She made some special friends in her life; Mary Klinger, Ilene Branen and her water walking friends at the YMCA. Maxine trusted the Lord and at the end of life she said, “don’t worry about me.” She was saved and baptized in Attica, KS.

Survivors include her daughters: Linda Stueve and husband Wes, Hazel Bliss; grandchildren: Monty Stueve and wife Sheila, Perry, Shane Callison, Alva, Brandy Winkles and husband Michael, Alva, Ginger West and husband Lance, Perry, Nadia McKitrick and husband Ronnie, Hardtner, KS, Nikki Woodson, Centerton, AR, and Lucinda Leach and husband Gabe, Perry; great grandchildren: Jeanie Carpenter, Ratcliff, KY, Cheyenne Wilson, Alva, Stetson Howland, Perry, Bailey Brown, Temple, TX, Cooper Skluzacek, Oklahoma City, Wyatt Woodson, Stillwater, Dali Atchley, Henderson, TN, Glenna Gossett, Hardtner, KS, Montana Merrill, Alva, Tyler Woodson, Orlando, Dusty Colvin, Alva, Kendalyn Stueve, Kimber Leach, Josey West, Lydia Leach and Brand West all of Perry; great-great grandchildren: Logan Carpenter, Ratcliff, KY, Centella Wilson and Frost Wilson of Alva, TW Gossett and Haven Gossett of Hardtner, KS, Lucas Wolz, Ratcliff, KY.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; husband Forrest Tinker; son Jimmy Callison; daughter Beverly Callison; and son-in-law Wayne Bliss.

Casket bearers will be Wes Stueve, Stetson Howland, Wyatt Woodson, Gabe Leach, Lance West and Brand West. Honorary Casket bearers; Tyler Woodson and Monty Stueve.

Memorial contributions may be made to Noble County Fairview Cemetery in care of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N. 7th St., Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
