June 26, 1946 – May 28, 2022

Marcia Louise Beguin, 75, a long-time resident of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Saturday, May 28, 2022, after a long illness at her daughter’s residence in Spring Hill KS. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will be present from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park, Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.

Marcia was born on June 26, 1946, in Ponca City, to the late Albert F. and Elener M. (Nelson) Hendricks. She worked many years in foodservice for Ponca City Public Schools. Marcia lived almost all of her life in Ponca City, attended Washington and Woodlands Elementary Schools, East Junior High, and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1964.

On June 3, 1968, Marcia married Jack Beguin and they had two children she cherished and loved more than anything in life. She was divorced in 2003.

Marcia is survived by her children, Amy Hudson and her husband, Randy, of Spring Hill Kansas, and Anthony Beguin and his wife, Kelli, of Ponca City. Marcia has two grandchildren; Annie Beguin and Parker Beguin, both of Ponca City.

She is also survived by her brother Steve Hendricks and his wife Betty of Ponca City; brother-in-law Jim Beguin and his wife Margie, sister-in-law Julaine Ogden and sister-in-law Jane Beguin all of Ponca City; brother-in-law John Beguin and his wife Judy of Burlington IA; sister-in-law Joanne Yarbrough and her husband Ken of Broken Arrow.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law Philip and Florence Beguin; brothers-in-law Jerrold Beguin, Rusty Prophet, Leo Ogden and Clint McGinnis; sister-in-law Janita Prophet and Chris Beguin.

Marcia was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
