Obituary for Louise Clanton

Louise Kindle Clanton of Blackwell, Oklahoma, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 17, 2014, at the age of 59 years.
Louise was born on July 15, 1954, in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jessie Lee and Lela Mae (Turner) Kindle. Louise spent all her life in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. Following her education she began working for Paul’s Grill working there for several years. On February 9, 1991, she married the love of her life, Curtis Clanton, and they made their home in Blackwell. She served her family as a homemaker raising and caring for their two children, Wade and Jennifer. Louise enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, and loved her morning trips to United. She also took care of a special little girl, Amber Hankla, forming a special bond that continues to last. She enjoyed reading, going to her grandchildren’s activities, and doing things for others.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Clanton of Blackwell; her son, Wade Kennon and wife Perla of Blackwell, Oklahoma; he daughter, Jennifer Ingram of Blackwell, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Mason, Kameron, Italia, and Venecia all of Blackwell, Oklahoma; two brothers, Faron Kindle of Blackwell, and Ricky Kindle of Blackwell; five sisters, Wanda Schooling of Blackwell, Jeanette Kindle of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Jackie Watson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Bunny Baugas of Caddo, Oklahoma, and Linda Bowhay of Ponca City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lester Kindle and Allen Hess.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Alan Skinner of the House of Prayer Blackwell, officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
Family will be at the Funeral Home Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 6:00 pm to 8 pm to greet friends.
Casketbearers will be Brock Kindle, Toby Baugus, Tucker Scott, Danny Williams, Bill Barbero and Joe Schooling.
Honorary Casketbearers will be Mason Ingram, Kameron Ingram, Italia Kennon, Venecia Kennon, Ricky Joe Schooling, Faron Kindle and Ricky Kindle.
A memorial has been established in her memory with the House of Prayer, and the Oklahoma Heart Hospital c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home 120 West Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74361.
