Logan Tanner Hicks

December 31, 1998 – February 15, 2024

Logan Tanner Hicks, age 25, resident of Perry, OK went to be with Jesus on February 15, 2024, in Perry, OK.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Crescent, OK, with Pastor Kim Hays officiating.

Logan was born on December 31, 1998 to Kirk Hicks and Jenny Foster in Edmond, OK and worked as an Auto CAD drafter.

Logan was a member of First Christian Church of Crescent under Pastor Keith Gordon. The last couple of years, Logan had attended First Baptist Church in Perry under Brother Kim Hays. Logan knew Jesus and was quick to deliver a Bible verse in conversation, but his favorite was to debate philosophical topics. Logan was baptized at First Christian Church on April 21, 2013. He also loved attending Wednesday evenings at Victory Life Church’s young adult group in Stillwater.

For a man who faced multiple surgeries that led to physical restrictions, he had many hobbies including FFA showing pigs, gaming, hunting, fishing, he taught himself to play the guitar, guns and ammo, !Ticky-Tok!, dooms day prepping, NAPPING, weekend road trips with Sean, drafting random floor plans, and listening to music.

He graduated from Crescent High School in 2017 and attended Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech for architectural computer aided drafting. He received his associate degree from OSU-OKC. Logan worked from home and took full advantage of that; napping as often as possible and then pulling all-nighters to finish his projects. Break times for him included finding the funniest/dumbest Tik-Toks and sending multiple back-to-back to everyone! He also hoarded snacks in his room – ones HE bought and didn’t HAVE to share because he hid them in his room.

Logan was the sweetest, smartest, funniest, orneriest, strongest man and God chose all of us to share him with. He loved scaring us because he knew none of us would scare him back. We were all too afraid we would kill him LOL. He was always telling jokes, appropriate or not. He loved range days and spent most of the time picking up the casings to reload…that dooms day prepping we mentioned. He was papa’s mini-me in that aspect. He loved sending momma new recipes from the Tiky-Tok to try. So many stories to share about our sweet boy, not nearly enough paper. Anyone that knew him for more than five minutes loved him.

Survivors include: his mother, Jenny Foster and husband JD of Perry; father, Kirk Hicks of Crescent; siblings, Amanda Wilson and husband Jace of Luther, Jaxon, Emily, Wyatt and Waylon Foster of Perry, Seth and Elayna Palmour of Crescent, Haley and husband Trey Lewis of Choctaw, and Ben Palmour of Wichita, KS; and his “brother from another mother” Sean Broomall.

He is preceded in death by Granddad, Jeff Allen; papa, Delvin Hicks; uncle, Kevin Hicks; and great-grandparents, Russell Jones, Elaine Johns, LT Hicks, Veda Smith, Bert Smith, Allen Lindell, and Emily (Marie) Lindell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Crescent FFA.
