Leora Ann (Knox) Neeley

January 11, 1939 ~ April 21, 2022 (age 83)

Leora ‘Lee’ Ann Neeley, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, gained her wings on April 21, 2022.

She was born on January 11, 1939, to Harry Knox and Veva Kothe Knox in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Ponca City and Santa Cruz, California. She started her family in Ponca City, OK and moved to Grand Prairie Texas in 1965 to continue to raise her family. Moved back to Tonkawa, OK in 1973 and remained a resident until her passing. She loved spending time with her family. When she was younger, loved camping, reading and crocheting. She considered her family her greatest accomplishment and very pride of them.

Lee is survived by two daughters, Kathy Riley and husband Noble and Shurlene Milligan and husband Robert, both from Ponca City and Tonkawa area, two brothers Jerry Knox of Wisconsin and John Knox of California. She loved her 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepchildren Gary Neeley, Larry Neeley, Rex Neeley and Marline Fields and their families.

She is proceeded in her passing by her parents, husbands Ruben Priest and S.G. ‘Pete’ Neeley, daughter Linda Christomos, sons Michael Neeley and Monty Priest, two grandsons Jeffrey Priest and Dakota Milligan, and one great grandson Emmett Rakes.

The family would like to thank Hospice of North Central Oklahoma and Ponca City Nursing Home for their care and support for our mother during this time of her life. And family friends for the emotional support.

Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
