Larry Edward Hart of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday afternoon, June 3, 2019, at his home at the age of 75 years.
Larry Edward Hart was born on September 28, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Edward King and Ealen (Baker) Hart. As a young boy he moved with his family to Blackwell where he attended Blackwell Public Schools and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1962. He furthered his education by attending a vocational school where he studied architecture. He married Cindy Ann Buesing on June 5, 1970, in Blackwell. He worked for the Blackwell Zinc Company until he began working with his father at the Ozarka Water Plant. In 1973 they sold the company and he began working for the Electron Corporation. In 2002, Larry went to work in the maintenance department at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. He retired in 2012. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and his beloved Oklahoma State Cowboys.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hart of Blackwell; a daughter, Sherry Dunnington and husband Steve of Broken Arrow; a son, Eddie Hart of Moore; a sister, Sue Law of Ohio; and three grandchildren, Wyatt and Brooke Dunnington of Broken Arrow, and Kylie Hart of Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ann Thayer.
A private celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later time.
