Kenneth Gonterman – Veteran

(May 5, 1954 – February 5, 2017)

Kenneth Wayne Gonterman passed away on February 5, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. He was 62 years old. Kenneth was born on May 5, 1954 in Aurora, Illinois to his parents, Everett Elroy and Sharon Ray (Bradley) Gonterman. He attended West Aurora High School. Kenneth served his country for three years in the United States Marine Corps.

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Keni Lynn Gonterman-Taylor, Breanna Gonterman and Byron Fisk, Leisy Gonterman and Josh Nail, step-daughters, Stephanie Empey and wife, Holly, Amy Bentley, Rebecca and husband, Andy Evans, Dollie Martin, step-son, Jeffrey Thompson, brother John Gonterman and wife, Kelly, sister, Rena Capps, and 19 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cathy Strain.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City.
