Kathy Jean Peck
June 19, 1952 – February 15, 2022
Kathy Jean (Losey) Peck, 69, left this world and arrived in Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 15, 2022 in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Kathy was born June 19, 1952 to Lawrence and Mildred (Evans) Losey in Claremore, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1970. She graduated from Claremore Junior College in 1972 and from Oklahoma State University in 1974 with a degree in Education.
On June 4, 1971, she married Albert Ray Peck at Washington Church in Rogers County. They had 3 children, Jared, Jonathan, and Jennifer Peck. Kathy and Albert lived in Vinita, Claremore, Tulsa, Ponca City, Katy (Texas), Singapore, and Dubai, but Ponca City for the majority of her life.
Kathy was an active member of Northeast Baptist Church. Over the years there, she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, baked and decorated countless cakes for showers, helped with Friendship Feast, cooked at Falls Creek, and served in many other ways. Church and her church family were always very important to Kathy. She taught for twenty years starting at First Assembly Christian School and continuing with Ponca City Christian Academy. Her students and their families had a special place in her heart. Kathy enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her loving spouse of 50 years, Albert, of the home, Jared and Becky Peck of Newark, California, Jonathan and Elizabeth Peck of Ponca City, and Jennifer Peck of Ponca City. Kathy had nine grandchildren, Hana, Isabella, Liliana, Rosalyn, Caleb, Eli, Aiden, Lawren, and Aurora. She is also survived by her brother Vernon and wife Carolyn Losey of Claremore, sister Linda and husband Everett of Madisonville, Texas, sister Donna Posey of Claremore, and many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mildred (Evans) Losey.
