Judy Ann Buck
December 15, 1951 – March 31, 2023
Judy Ann Buck, age 71, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away March 31, 2023, at home with her family by her side.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Carney Cemetery in Carney, Oklahoma with Rev. Brett Nation officiating. Judy will be laid to rest at Carney Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at Trout Funeral Home of Perry on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 8 AM to 8 PM. The family will greet friends and family from 6-8 PM.
Judy was born on December 15, 1951, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Bob and Mary (Hagar) Buck. Judy graduated from Carney High School. After high school, she furthered her education at Central Technology Center in Drumright where she obtained her LPN. Judy became an EMT in 1989 and worked the ER at Stillwater Hospital for a short time before obtaining her RN at Rose State College. Judy worked many jobs in her career including Cimarron Correctional Facility, OU Medical Center ICU and many others. Her favorite part of her career was working for State of Oklahoma program ‘Children First’ where she helped many young moms much like herself.
Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the lake and following her grandchildren in all of their sporting events. Judy will always be remembered as “the best nana ever” who never missed a ballgame. She would drive from one town to another if it meant she got to watch both grandkids play ball in the same day.
Survivors include: her son, Michael Buck and his fiancé, Michelle Leach of Perry; grandson, Dillon Buck and his fiancé, Destiny Dyess of Perry; granddaughter, Olivia Yunker and her husband, Britton of Perry; brother Bobby Buck and his wife, Stacy of Perkins; sister Debbie Buck of Tryon; double cousin Linda “Susie” Bates and husband John of Wellston; her lifelong best friend Mary Breeden and John Ball of Agra; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mary Buck; the love of her life, Benny Butler; and her two much loved baby Yorkies, Abby and Jessie.
Casket bearers are Dillon Buck, Josh Loree, Britton Yunker, Bobby Buck, John Bates and John Buck. Honorary casket bearers are Kenny Buck, Johnny Hagar, and John Ball.
