Obituary for Joyce Bay

Therese Joyce Bay of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died August 10, 2014, in the Ponca City Medical Center at the age of 52 years.

Therese Joyce Bay was born on December 17, 1961, in Blackwell to Virgil J. and Nina M. (Pritchett) Loveall. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1980. She later attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa where she received her nursing certification. Upon completion she began working at nursing homes in Blackwell, Medford and Ponca City. She married Dean Bay on October 26, 2002, in Blackwell and they made Blackwell their home. She loved her family and her grandbabies were the joy of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Bay of Blackwell; two daughters, Michelle Logston and granddaughters, Emily and Lydia all of Blackwell and Tonja and son Caleb Almack of Ponca City; a son, Nathan Almack and grandchildren, Cassie, Abbey and Bubba of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Ramona Scott and husband Danny of Ponca City, Jacqueline Loveall of Blackwell and Shelley Loveall of Ponca City; and three brothers, Mark Loveall and wife Sherry of Ponca City, Christopher Loveall of Ponca City and James Loveall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul D Loveall, and her grandparents, Warren and Bessie Pritchett and John and Alta Loveall.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 22nd in the Bethesda Assembly of God Church in Blackwell with Rev. Lonnie Rutherford and Rev. Jared Shoultz officiating. Burial will be in the Braman Cemetery at a later date.
