Joseph Lorin Springer
(December 3, 1964 – April 17, 2017)
Joe L. Springer passed away suddenly on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 52. He was born on December 3, 1964 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Gene and Stella Springer.
Joe graduated from Ponca City High School, where he was active in FFA showing and judging hogs. He worked for Jack Henry in Monett, MO as an Installation Coordinator for Financial Software.
He loved his white German Shepherd, Luna. He also loved to travel, visiting a special friend, Nakary Rivera Fernandez in Venezuela and seeing family.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bill and Jerome, a niece, Ariel Estep, and nephew, Jason Bowlin.
He is survived by his brother; Rick and wife Celia of Claremore, OK, sisters; Candy Bowlin and husband Ken of Sapulpa, OK, Theresa Millard of Seneca, MO, and Mary Gates and husband Steve of Laverne, OK. He is also survived by an uncle and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Odd Fellows Cemetery (1206 S Waverly, Ponca City, OK) in the pavilion area. Burial will be in the Oak Grove area of the cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
