Jo Ann Harrisberger

(November 21, 1936 – February 24, 2015)

Jo Ann Fulton Harrisberger, beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Friend has finally been allowed to come home after joining our Heavenly Father in Guildford, England on February 24th, 2015.

Born In Wamego, Kansas on November, 21st, 1936, Jo was the 2nd daughter to Dorothy and Francis Fulton of Ponca City, and sister to Donna Fulton Miller of Edmond and Betty Fulton Sanders. Jo was a 1954 graduate of Ponca City Senior High School and attended Northern Oklahoma Junior College in Tonkawa before marrying Tom Harrisberger of Ponca City. She has worked at Roses Drugstore, Conoco plus El Paso and Oklahoma City Natural Gas but her favorite job was being a full-time Mother.

This small town Ponca City girl went on to live in a quaint village on the outskirts of London, England called Walton-On-The-Hill for almost 6 years; then on to Houston, Texas; Virginia Beach, VA and Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed the many road trips and cruises that enabled her to see and experience 31 countries in Europe and much of the United States.

A talented seamstress, knitter, and quilter – Jo loved animals, Cowboys and Indians, books, history, computers, technology, football and daisies. Jo has spent thousands of hours researching her family ancestry online, and was an undeniable United States Patriot and avid political junkie.

Jo gave her love and spirit to her entire family, leaving us with many beautiful memories throughout her journey on earth – from family picnics, holidays and celebrations – to spending countless hours coloring on the floor and making paper dolls out of wallpaper books. She was a sentimental, emotional, compassionate, loving cheerleader and supporter to all.

Jo will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart, enduring love of family and willingness to go out of her way to make them feel special. Life is an echo. Jo will forever live in our hearts. She is dearly loved and missed by all.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things & endures all things. First Corinthians 13:7
