Jim Adam Black passed away Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at the age of 63 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was born in Monrovia, California on January 14th, 1958 to Minnie Harris and Dwain Black.
Jim grew up in various areas, from California to Germany and a few places in-between. He had many accomplishments during his brief time here on earth. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Ln later years he received his Doctorate in Ministry.
Jim loved his friends, cars, motorcycles, camping as well as his cats. He was always ready for an adventure and never afraid to try something new. Although most people’s first impression of Jim was a big tuff biker, they quickly learned that he was truly just a big soft teddy bear who cared about people.
He is survived by his adopted family, sister and brother, Jodie and Rick Garrett, their children, Catherine, Brittany, Ricki, Ariah and Amber, their grand babies, Carolina and Mason, his “Sugar Momma”, Felicia Coley, along with a host of friends.
Cremation services are under the guidance of Grace Memorial Chapel.
