1957 – 2021

Jerry Lee “Yeller Dawg” Grayson, 63, of Ponca City, left this life on March 5, 2021, in Stillwater, OK. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.

Jerry was born on May 30, 1957, in Ponca City, to Logan Leroy and Jerry Judy Louise (Pruett) Grayson. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jerry was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Jerry is survived by: his father, Logan Grayson of Ponca City; son, Travis Grayson, of Columbia, NC; daughters, Amanda Yates, of Hertford, NC, Cheyenne Bottger, of Ponca City, Sarah Grayson, of Ponca City; step-son, Christopher Lanning, Derrick Martin; 10 grandchildren; sister, Kim Lowery, of Inola, OK; and Sheila Grayson, the mother of Sarah, Christopher and Derrick.

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, his mother, Jerry Judy Louise Grayson; brother, Bobby Leon Grayson; sister, Kathleen Lefebure; and Marilyn Jean Breeden, the mother of Cheyenne.
