MARCH 21, 1949 – OCTOBER 8, 2019 (AGE 70)

Janet Sue Henderson passed away peacefully on October 8, 2019 in Madison, WI with her loving daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was 70 years old. Janet was born in Ponca City on March 21st, 1949 to Charles and Earline Mullin. She attended Ponca City schools, graduating from Ponca City High School in 1967. Janet spent her career working in the insurance industry. She relocated in 2008 to the Reno, NV area and later retired to Phoenix, AZ in 2015. Janet eventually moved to Wisconsin in 2018.

Janet is survived by her children Landon Henderson and his wife Jennifer of Dayton, OH; Natalie Drake and her husband Richard of Houston, TX; Jamie Baldus and her husband Brent of Beaver Dam, WI. Janet had 8 grandchildren that she loved dearly: Brooks and Cooper Henderson; Evelyn and Charlie Drake; Nina Winner, Leo Winner, Logan Baldus, and Wyatt Baldus. Janet is also survived by her siblings: Charlotte French, Chuck Mullin and his wife Mellisa, Jeannie Cook and her husband Jim, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Janet adored dogs of all kinds and she passed this canophilia down to all three of her children who are lifelong dog lovers.  She loved nothing more than taking care of her various rescue dogs over the years along with extended stints dog-sitting her children’s dogs.  She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and everyone else’s dogs.  Janet is survived by her loving companion, Junebug, the French Bulldog.  She is also survived by her grand-dogs Trixy, Greta, Samson, and Lulu.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband, James Henderson, and her parents. Janet will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Janet would have been honored by donations made in her name to any local animal shelters or rescue organizations.
