Jan Denise (Halford) Evans passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 1st, 2015 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was born October 29th, 1961 to John and Doris (Cox) Halford in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Dewar High School in 1979 and soon married her husband Terry on October 18, 1980. They recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Jan worked at the Rusty Barrell Supper Club in Ponca City for over 20 years, starting as a waitress and eventually becoming the manager. Jan was a faithful Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Dewar Oklahoma. She cherished her family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with them and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Evans, her children, Matt Evans of Borger, Texas, A.J. Evans and wife, Celestia of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Justin Evans and wife Jenny of Borger, Texas, sister, Ruth Coe of Ponca City, mother, Doris (Halford) Panchot and husband Ray Panchot of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Arin, and Ethan, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Johnnie Halford Jr. and her brother, Johnnie Halford III.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the following locations:

Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 3rd until at 8pm. The family will be receiving visitors from 6-8pm. Viewing will continue the following day, Wednesday, November 4th until 12 pm.

Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Thursday, November 5th. Viewing from 9am-9pm. The family will be receiving visitors from 6-8 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Friday, November 6th at 2pm. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
