James Scot Turner, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away March 23, 2015 at 8:45am. He was 57.
The graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 27, 2015, at Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City, Oklahoma with Chaplain Mike Sweetman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
James was born to Bill Gene Turner and Maryella Turner in Ponca City, OK where he was also raised. He was married to Tracie Adams in Lake Tahoe, Colorado. He worked as Self-Employed Contractor for over 20 years. There was nothing he could not do. He was a real jack of all trades. He loved many things in life, his work, his family, and his Dallas Cowboys, which he watched religiously.
He is survived by his mother Maryella Turner, daughter Lexy Turner, and nephews Jacob Wilson, Tony Turner, and Aaron Gregory.
Preceded in death by father, Bill Gene Turner, Brother Billy John Turner, and sister Vicki Turner.
Casketbearers will be Lee Wesbrook, Mitch Canaday, James Parks, Steve McDaniel, Chuck Clay, and Jacob Wilson.
