Jacqueline Marie Worley
(August 31, 1923 – October 17, 2016)
Jacqueline Marie (Cramer) Worley passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at her home in Ponca City. She was 93 years old. A graveside ceremony for Jackie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Jackie will be available for viewing on Thursday, November 3, 2016 until 8:00 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home.
Jackie was born on August 31, 1923 to Basil and Anna (Trumblin) Cramer in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She grew up and graduated high school in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She also attended Oklahoma University for two years before having children. On September 15, 1944, she married L. D. “Bill” Worley. They were married for 53 years. Jackie was a big cat lover! All of the stray cats seemed to wind up in her care. Her love of animals led her to be a devoted supporter of the Humane Society. Jackie also enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader of literature. She read anything she could get her hands on.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela and husband Bud Hall of Austin, Texas and Monica Worley of Aberfeldy, Scotland, nephew, Terry Cramer of Checotah, Oklahoma, three grandsons, David Hall of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Jonathan Hall of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Daniel Hall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and three great-grandchildren, Seth, Hayden, and Amelia Hall.
