(January 6, 1922 – February 16, 2017)

Jack Fletcher Disney, 95, of Winfield, KS, died Thursday, February 16, 2017. A service will be held at 9:30 am, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow at White Cemetery in Hunter, OK.

Jack was born January 6, 1922, to Raymond J. and Inez L. (Arter) Disney in Hunter, OK.

On January 14, 1945, he married Doris Betts in LaFeria, TX. The couple moved to Lincoln, NE in July 1953. They made their home there until August 2013, when they moved to Ponca City, OK. Jack later moved to Winfield to the Veteran’s Home.

He enjoyed playing dominoes, bridge, and cribbage and used these games to teach his children math.

His dear wife Doris preceded him in death.

Jack is survived by their children, Michael and Janis Disney of Houston, TX, Deborah and David Schaller of Ponca City, OK, Betts Disney of Novato, CA, Deni and John Hoehne of Eagle, ID. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
