Irene M. Le Clair, 57, of Ponca City, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Ponca City Medical Center. Irene was born on June 5, 1956 in Ponca City to Antoine and Marie (Buffalohead) Le Clair.
Irene’s hobbies included making God’s eyes, putting beads on stuffed animals, liked playing casino and making fry bread. She was the “Family Fry Bread and Meat Pie maker”. She was a very loving person, everything was beautiful and pretty to her, she liked feeding people and always had a gift for people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-Dorothy Green, sister-Judy Eagle, grandson-Fabian Pratt and her husband-Houston Primeaux, SR.
She is survived by 2 sons; Houston Primeaux, JR and Antoine (E.T.) Le Clair, step-mother-Rosetta Le Clair, 6 grandkids; Tamira, Munchuska “MJ”, Houston, III , Garren, Destiny, Antoine “Bubba” Le Clair. Companion of over 20 years McKinly (Mac) Hopper. Brother-In-Law-Wilkie D. Eagle, 4 nieces; Irma Eagle, Toni Eagle, Margie Eagle and Rosemary Eagle. 2 Nephews; Joseph (Joe) Brown and Wilkie Eagle, JR.
Wake service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014, Traditional Meal at NOON on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. all at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center with Pastor Jimmy White, officiating. Casket bearers will be; Houston Primeaux, JR, Mike Le Clair, Ellsworth Holuby, Julian Pratt, Rudy Salinas, M.J. Primeaux, Houston Primeaux and Garren Primeaux. Burial will follow in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery of White Eagle, OK.
