Harold Charles Dickerson

(August 15, 1924 – January 24, 2016)

Harold C. Dickerson, age 91, has left this world surrounded by neighbors and family on January 24, 2016.

Harold served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Harold married Mabel Marie West on August 10, 1946, they were married for 68 years before her passing in 2014. Harold worked as an accountant for Conoco in Denver, CO and in Ponca City, OK for 35 years. He leaves behind two sons, Jim Dickerson and his wife Pam of Montgomery, TX and Joe Dickerson and his wife Diane of Keensburg, CO.

Harold is also survived by six grandchildren: Melissa Moore, Amy Grote, Sarah London, Mike Curfman, Susan Hoyle, and Kristi Hunter; great grandchildren: Cody and Caleb Oliver, Stetson and Sterling London, Morgan and Karyson Hunter, Cassie Sawatzky, Collin Hoyle, Stephen, Garrett, and Trent Curfman and five great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel Dickerson.

Harold has requested no ceremony; therefore, the family request any offerings in his name go to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.
