August 16, 2021 – September 16, 2021

Halli Maye Hamrick came into this world unexpectedly at 2:21 pm on August 16, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ryan and Kelli Hamrick of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Halli is survived by her twin sister Harper Kate and paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom love her very much.

Her parents had already fallen in love with Halli in the months prior while watching each of her weekly ultrasounds; however, upon seeing her in person for the first time that afternoon, they found themselves instantly wrapped around her tiny fingers and fell even more in love with her.

After their birth, Halli and her sister, Harper, were taken to the NICU where her mom and dad stayed with them every day and watched them continue to grow.

Even though she was only here for a short time, the impact that Halli made on people’s lives, many of whom she had never actually met, was a beautiful thing to see. Some of those lives touched by Halli were the amazing nurses and doctors who cared tirelessly for her. She had already begun to develop quite the personality and reputation during her month of life which required constant attention from mom, dad, and the entire NICU staff.

On the morning of September 16th, after developing an infection, Halli could no long hold on and passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms for which they will forever be grateful.

Even though we will always wonder what Halli would have been like, we will deeply cherish the month we had with her and she will always be with us. We all now know that we will have a sweet guardian angel watching over us and Halli will forever be in our hearts.
