Obituary for Glen Ogden

Glen Ervin Ogden, 70, of Rising Sun, Indiana formerly of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born October 1, 1944 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Hiram Delbert Ogden and the late Ellen Margaret (Heck) Ogden. Glen was a veteran of the United States Marines. He retired from a job with the federal government in which he inspected oil wells. Glen enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, board games, and doing logic puzzles. He also loved watching sports, especially college football. His favorite team was the Oklahoma Sooners.
He is survived by 2 brothers, John Ogden of Ponca City and Wendell (wife Donna) Ogden of Rockwall, Texas, Sister-in-law Julaine Ogden, three nieces, Sue (husband Jeff) Baer, Becky (husband Ken) Carpenter, Debbie Fox and one nephew, Gregory Ogden. Five grand-nieces, Paula Fox, Tiffany Fox (Jake Ingles), Stephanie Baer, Kelsey Carpenter, and Chloe Bushman. Three grand-nephews, Keith (wife Amanda, daughter Madison) Fox, Aaron Baer, and Kenny Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hiram Ogden and Ellen Margaret Ogden, two brothers, Merle Ellsworth Ogden and Leo Ogden, and one nephew, Merle David Ogden and one sister-in-law, Lou Ann Ogden.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City, Oklahoma with Pastor Albert Quick officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
