Gina Marie Dotson

(April 6, 1979 – January 12, 2016)

Gina Marie Dotson passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her home. She was 36. Gina was born in Blackwell, OK on April 6, 1979 to Terry and Ricki. She attended Blackwell schools until the family moved to Ponca City in 1988 where she continued her middle and high school education.

She was married to Nate Flippin for two years. Gina worked at Albertson’s Warehouse in Ponca City before being a full-time mother to her three children. She had a talent for interior decorating and was known for her awesome hair styles.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Walter Dotson and grandparents, Dale and Velma Hinman.

Gina is survived by her children, Trey Dotson, Sataiya Goree, and Kalani Cuccaro of Ponca City, her father, Terry Dotson and wife Barbara, her mother, Ricki Welsch and husband Bruce, significant other, Spener Cuccaro, sisters, Kindra Dotson of Oklahoma City and Chandra Round of Houston, grandmother, Joyce Dotson, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.

A graveside service for Gina will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park. Gina will be available for viewing at Trout Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon until 8:00 p.m. and Friday morning until 12:30 p.m.
