Gary Elwin Sinclair of Kansas, Oklahoma, died Friday morning, October 2, 2015, at his residence at the age of 71 years.
Gary Elwin Sinclair was born on December 16, 1943, in Braman, Oklahoma, to Ervin Clifford and Inez Marie (Ellison) Sinclair. He attended Braman Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1961. He married Karen Shouse in 1962 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He joined the United States Air Force in 1962, served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1965. He attended Northern Oklahoma College and obtained an Associate’s Degree. He enjoyed riding bare back broncos and bulls in rodeos, hunting, fishing, coaching youth sports and mowing his yard. He liked watching Oklahoma University sports and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his beagles, Jack and Jill. He was full of life and would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by two sons, Bret Sinclair and wife Vicky of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Kevin Sinclair of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Charles Ervin “Bud” Sinclair and wife Jan of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Ashley Sinclair of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Colby Sinclair and wife Paige of Ft. Drummond, New York, and Kendra Sinclair of Kokomo, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lois Marie Stewart; and one nephew, Blake Sinclair.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10th in the Braman Cemetery, Braman, Oklahoma, with Rev. Don Teel officiating.
Casketbearers will be Mike Moyer, Don Ray, Randy Ray, Adam Sinclair, Shelby Don Ray and Blake Hashagen.
